Desmond the Cat - 2010 - page 3
We got a new kitten in July. Desmond was born on May 24, 2010, and we brought him home on July 8. By July 20, he was up to 15 ounces. He's grown rapidly. On July 19, we showed him to the dogs for the first time. The next day, we let BamBam (the older, more sedate dog) into the room with him, and they played together pretty well. Within days we progressed to letting both dogs in the room with him at the same time for supervised interaction.

Desmond was fearless around the dogs, even though they love to chase him around. He led them in circles in the bedroom until he tired of it, and then climbed a dresser and taunted them.

Eventually we let them all play together, and ever since it has been Bella (younger dog) and Desi roughhousing most of the day. They are a perfect match for each other.

November 1, 2010 		November 1 - Desi and Bella play kind of rough, and they love it that way. Bella drags Desi around the floor by his ear or tail a lot.
