In June 2022 I attended the Digital Shootout in Bonaire. This was a 2-week event involving 75 or so divers in an underwater photography and video instructional event. From sunup to bedtime we were immersed in either diving, classes, critiques and eating. We were challenged to try new techniques, and in some cases new demo equipment. I tried a snooted flash and loved it enough to buy one and bring it home.

6/18/2022<br>Before this lighthouse was built there were a lot of shipwrecks along the south coast of Bonaire.  Seven different villages would gather on the coast after storms to salvage wreckage.  Each village claimed a section of shoreline and marked it with a color.
