Diving in Maui - 2018 - page 9
Here are a few images from diving in Maui in July 2018. Not many pics, because I only went on three dives. First, to the Carthaginian, where I dove the wreck while Grace watched from a submarine. Then a murky shallow water dive at Mala Pier. Finally, a dive off Molokai looking for hammerheads.

Lots of colorful fish around Hawaii. 		July 17, 2018<br>Three dive groups went in off the boat. All stay together due to currents and surface conditions. All divers had to have safety sausages (a signaling device) in case they got swept away on the surface and had to be found. Here is my dive group staying together.

July 17, 2018<br>At the very end of a 45-minute dive, while doing the 3-minute safety stop, we saw our first (and only) hammerheads. I got only 2 pics where a shark is recognizable. Luck of the draw that I was too far away.
